We are honored that Jami Snyder will be one of our guest speakers. Ms. Snyder is the Associate Commissioner for Medicaid and CHIP Services at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
We are pleased to welcome as guest speakers Dr. Jamo Rubin and Dr. Ronald Rodriquez. Dr. Rubin is the CEO of TAVHealth and chairman of the Texas Biomedical Research Institute. Dr. Rodriguez is the Interim Dean for the UT School of Medicine at San Antonio.
We are excited to announce our panelists who will share their work on social determinants of health: Dr. Kathryn Parke (UT School of Nursing) and Ms. Tiffany Gonzalez (Bluebonnet Trails Community Services).

San Antonio Food Bank Food and Funds Drive – We are very excited to partner with the Omni Hotel and the San Antonio Food Bank to collect food and funds for our neighbors in the region and those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The employees of the Omni will be donating throughout the week and we will wrap up the collections at our Learning Collaborative. Thank you in advance for giving generously! Updated Community Needs Assessment – As part of this year’s DSRIP requirements, and in preparation for the transition to Demonstration Years 7 and 8 (if approved by CMS), Regional Healthcare Partnerships are required to update their Community Needs Assessments. We are pleased to share with you RHP 6’s draft Community Needs Assessment Update for DY6. We need your input! We invite you to review the draft and share your feedback and insights by completing this survey. The survey will close October 31, 2017.
As we complete the sixth year of Texas’ Medicaid 1115 Waiver, healthcare providers and other stakeholders continue to IMPROVE HEALTH and TRANSFORM CARE across South Texas. Omni Hotel San Antonio at the Colonnade

- Parking is available in the surface lots surrounding the hotel. There is no fee to park.
- When you arrive, please check in at the registration table to receive your name badge and attendee packet. Sign-in and continental breakfast begin at 7:30 AM. The first presentation begins at 8:30 AM.
- The general and breakout sessions will be held in the Grand Ballroom, which is located on the first floor, toward the back of the hotel. As with all hotels, temperatures may fluctuate throughout the day so dress accordingly.
- Bring plenty of business cards. There is a great opportunity for networking!
