2018 Learning Collaborative & Stakeholder Forum

RHP 6 hosted its annual Learning Collaborative & Stakeholder Forum in San Antonio on September 7th. We had presentations and discussions on “What’s Trending” in healthcare transformation. In the spirit of the renewed Medicaid 1115 Waiver, topics were “bundled” into key themes, including alternative payment models, data sharing, and engaging the patient and population. We were honored to have guest speakers with us from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Department of State Health Services, Texas Health Services Authority, Amerigroup, Community First Health Plans, University Medicine Associates, Dell Medical School. University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine, and Welltok. In addition to these experts leading today’s trends, guests enjoyed the lunchtime presentation by Rob Wicall. He shared his “lessons learned” over a 16-year career as the San Antonio Spurs Coyote to help us rally our teams through the challenges and opportunities ahead.
